Rescue Remedy
Do you suffer from panic attacks? Do you get upset or nervous?
Read my review of Rescue Remedy for the experience I had from using it for panic attack relief.
Rescue Remedy 20ml is the best known and most commonly used Bach Flower Remedy and the one I use myself for emergency anxiety relief. It has a combination of five flowers which are used in times of crisis to relieve shock and trauma caused by physical or emotional injury or illness.
The flowers used are impatiens (for irritation),star of Bethlehem (for shock),cherry plum (for irrational thoughts),rock rose (for terror and panic) and clematis (for inattentiveness). The ingredients are spring water, brandy (as preservative) and the flower essences.
Rescue Remedy is totally safe, and there are no known side effects. It comes in small 10 and 20 ml bottles that can be slipped into a briefcase or handbag. There is also a spray, cream and pastilles in the rescue range.
It’s not a miracle cure, but more a quick fix,and it does help. I have used the spray during a panic attack and although it doesn’t stop the attack it did help me manage it. There is no wrong method for using the Bach Remedies, just use sensibly at intervals. I think it’s good in the short term for emergency relief and I use it for that.
You can use the liquid mixed into mineral water, tea and coffee. If you mix it with hot drinks you lose the alcohol. The spray is my product of choice because you can use it quickly and it’s not noticeable that you are using anything as it just looks like a breath freshener or other throat spray. Just give two quirts into you mouth which equals 4 drops of the liquid. I have heard some reports that the spray nozzle clogs up but I haven’t found that personally.
I think Rescue Remedy is worth a try. It didn’t stop the panic attack in its tracks I did get some quick relief so I think you should give it a go. You can have it with you for backup and feel more confident going about living your life. Check it out and let me know how you found Rescue Remedy as everyone’s experiences are very individual.
